History of the Department
The Department started to exist in September, 2007.
Laboratories of the Department
– energetic and electric technical systems;
– electrical magnetism, optics and quantum physics;
– mechanics and molecular physics.
The laboratories of the Department are equipped by the modern technical devices which can help in tutoring and teaching of the special disciplines.

The main lines:
1. Technical decisions in decreasing of energetic expenditures in agricultural machinery and equipment building.
2. Constructors, technologies of producing and methods of calculations of non-synchronous engines with outer rotors.
3. Constructors, technologies of producing and methods of calculations of three-phase space transformers with low and average power.
The students of the Department take part in conferences and publish their researches.
The main direction of the educational activity is to improve the theoretical and practical levels of knowledge of students while their studying.
The educational staff prepares the tutoring aids and methodological recommendations for the laboratory works, diplomas and course works.
The workers of the Department are cooperated with leading scientific organizations. Among them there are Moscow Energetic Institute, Kharkiv National University, scientific centre "Electrical technique and electrical mechanics", etc.
